This Post at the “Poodle (& Dog) Blog” reminded me of a post I did long ago on a previously deleted blog when we still had Dixie’s much loved & missed predecessor Misty (Missy Moo).
I had been reading an article about the gruelling Iditarod sled dog race which had a Standard Poodle sled dog team entered.
I decided that Missy Moo probably had what it takes to represent Tasmania. Here is a photo of her in training.
I wonder if Dixie is feeling energetic this winter???

Missy Moo looks like she is ready to face the rugged wilderness if you are going to learn to be the musher and ride in that fancy sled.
The sled is especially designed. The wheel is to help it go over any rocks & fallen trees that may cross our path.
LOL ROFL LOL some more ROFL *gasp* *wheeze* HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
OK just take slow deep breaths & you’ll be OK. As long as you don’t suffer from asthma that is, then you could be in some serious trouble…
Ya know… I’ll bet there could be some real adventure for Flat Tony and his new friends with Dixie Poodle pulling that special rig!
Giddy-up! Oh, wait, wrong animal …
Giddy up will probably work…
It would be much more fun if she had someone to pull in the wheelbarrow!
Flat Tony would’ve been a good passenger but he wasn’t in existence at the time
Just remember, no matter what type dog you are on a dog sled team, if you are not the lead dog, the scenery is always pretty much the same.
Ya just gotta make sure your nose is in front of the pack
Not to be picky but shouldn’t you have tied her to the other end? ha
Ummm…. No, she is tied to the front…. ??????????????????
wow awesome dog!
She was a gorgeous little girl, we will always miss her
