Hi, My name is Tony & I live in Launceston which is the 2nd largest city in Australia’s beautiful island state of Tasmania.
Welcome to my blog. It doesn’t really fit into any particular category, just a muddle up of all sorts of rubbish that come from deep within the cesspools of my brain.
I was born & grew up in Queenstown, a small copper mining town which you can see on the map halfway down the West Coast.
I joined the Royal Australian Navy at age 17 where I served for 12 years & returned to Tasmania after my discharge to settle back into civilian life. While back in Queenstown my life sunk to it’s lowest point when my 10 year marriage broke down & ended in divorce in 1992 .
Later in 1995 I came into contact with Jehovah’s Witnesses, had many (often heated) discussions with them about the Bible & discovered for myself that so many of the things said about them are simply untrue. I was baptised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses myself a year later. It was in our local congregation that I met my current wife & best friend Michelle.
I currently work as a storeman/delivery driver for an Electrical Supplies Wholesale Company where we now live here in Launceston. A job that I really enjoy albeit a bit hectic at times. Well that’s a bit about me…
